Our unique niche in the ice cream world is that we grow the majority of the flavor elements at our farm in Vermont where we make the ice cream. Whatever we don't grow ourselves, we source from other trusted, local farms and principled producers. We keep our ingredient list simple in order to showcase the fruit flavors.
Sisters of Anarchy Ice Cream is based at our vertically integrated farm in Shelburne, VT. We have over 35,000 row feet of fruit under cultivation (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, aronia berries and elderberries). We practice sustainable agricultural practices, including use of innovative trellis systems and IPM and have been awarded grants from the USDA's Conservation Stewardship Program for our practices.
Our primary value-added product is our Sisters of Anarchy Ice Cream, which we make in pints, 4 oz single serves and ice cream sandwiches, as well as tubs for scooping. Our other value-added products include our wellness syrups (both aronia berry and elderberry syrups) and fruit pies that we sell at our farm location. In addition, we sell frozen fruit to other value-added producers throughout the region.
