Echo Farm Puddings: A Sweet Legacy of Family, Flavor, and Sustainability
In the rolling hills of Hinsdale, New Hampshire, Echo Farm Puddings tells a story as rich and delightful as the creamy desserts it crafts. Born in 1990 from a spark of youthful ambition—a “4-H project gone haywire”—sisters Beth and Courtney Hodge transformed their family’s passion for dairy into a thriving farm and pudding empire. What started with a few Jersey and Milking Shorthorn calves at a county fair has blossomed into a beloved New England tradition, blending heart, heritage, and unforgettable flavor.
At Echo Farm, our 75 cows—Milking Shorthorns and Jerseys—milked by a state-of-the-art Lely robotic system that ensures their comfort and care. As the first U.S. dairy farm to earn Certified Humane status, we’re fiercely committed to animal welfare and sustainable practices. Our cows feast on spent grain from local breweries, forging a cycle of sustainability that supports our land, our herd, and our community. We proudly champion local agriculture through organizations like 4-H and the NH Farm Bureau, keeping New England’s farming legacy alive.
Every batch is made right on the farm, using only the freshest milk from our Certified Humane herd. No preservatives, additives, fillers, or stabilizers—just pure, premium ingredients like Ghirardelli cocoa and Nielsen-Massey vanillas. We believe what you put in is what you get out, and our puddings prove it: rich, wholesome, and gluten-free, made with rBGH-free milk from our award-winning cows.
