Grown in the US since the mid 1990’s, Fuji is a sweet, crisp apple originally from Japan. This apple stays crisp and is a good “keeper”. It is best for eating out of hand or in salads, but is also a good baked apple with a little maple syrup on top. This variety is smooth-skinned with a light red to pink color.
